Was anyone else surprised? I know it seemed obvious that Jason was going to win her heart and yet it is the obvious that never pans out. I have liked Jason from the moment he got out of the limo and since he made it all the way through, I was hoping it would have been him, and yet...I have to say the last couple episodes I have grown to like Jesse too (definitely like the shorter hair). She had a hard decision in my opinion (not that that matters). Did you all figure that the "surprise announcement" was going to be that they picked a wedding date? I think we all knew that was it.I don't know why I have been so hooked on this show since its birth (I have only missed one season but caught the end to see his choice) but I have to say that I wish they would do more of The Bachelorette then The Bachelor because the women I believe are truly genuine about finding someone. The Bachelors never seem to stay with who they choose except for Byron but I don't think him and Mary have gotten married yet, have they? Do the bachelors think this is just lots of fun to be with 25 women or what??? What is your opinion on that?
Maybe the next bachelor will be Jason since they have never had a jilted bachelor as the new Bachelor. ABC if you are reading this post that is a hint.

I think that it is horrible speed dating 25 people and then deciding to marry them. I mean hey, great for Trista...but I just can't wrap my head around it. Yes, this is coming from the person who went on two dates and got married...but for the record I knew Dan for five years before I married him.
I didn't watch this season, but I can say I thought that the short haired guy was way cuter than the one she picked.
