Fall/Halloween decorations...there are no part 1,2 and 3...this is it

I know my post is pathetic with Fall/Halloween decorations but this is as good as it will be this year, ladies. I always had good intentions after Halloween to pick up a bunch of sale items (which I did) for the next year and when that time rolled around, I was just never in the mood (some one got some good deals at my yard sale).  My girls were lucky they got Halloween costumes. Now don't think I am a Hum Bug when it comes to Halloween, because I am not, but I just am not ready for it. I don't know why but it is this way year after year.

Now on the other hand I do LOVE FAll, it is my favorite time of year but I never really thought much about "Fall" decorating per say, it always seem to tie into my Halloween decorating but I am learning lots by reading other blogs. Check out Brandee, Susie and Joy.

I definitely need to have a plan of action before going to the Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby and Michaels as I did yesterday and just started picking up stuff with absolutely no idea what I was going to do with it, but hey, for a buck or less...why not.

After I got home and laid out everything I bought, plus the little I had, all these ideas came to mind and I realized that with no plan, I had not near what I needed to accomplish this decorating feat. So with that being said ladies, this is it for this year as I will now start to compile a notebook on ideas for next year.

One last note...I did hang up a lovely wreath but have not decorated the outside. Don't start getting giddy and think this will be spectacular, I can assure you it will be nice but not spectacular. Our development will not let you do outside decorating until 2 weeks before the holiday. Now there is Hum Bug.

Oh, won't they be surprised when Christmas rolls around ( I start the Sunday after Thanksgiving, it is tradition and that ain't gonna change...so take that).

These are my ladies, Hazel, Myrtle and Mabel. I have had them since our girls were little (and they are all in their 20's now), back when I did ceramics.

Little headstones that I put by my chalkboard along with my lovely tassel (Thanks Susie).

This didn't look too bad up close but looking at the picture here I think it might need some tweaking, any ideas?

This one was taken in the half bath. That is the shelf I revamped not too long ago. Whoo Hoo.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Cheri,

Just a few things are perfect! Your house is really beautiful and you don't want to clutter it up. I love those little witches. You made them? Thank you so much for linking me. Man I thought our homeowners association was strict. Two weeks! I would have fines already. Have a great weekend!

I like the way you have it looking like the cauldron is bubbling. Good idea.

I LOVE your Fall/Halloween decorations...I have issues with going way overboard with things...I only "witch" hehe I could keep it a little simpler. Yours looks GREAT!
