Not always do I do a "theme" for Christmas but this year (or rather last Christmas when we were in Seattle) I got it into my head (and since husband is a hunter) that an outdoor/nature theme would look pretty awesome to do.
Making a trip to Snowqualmie Falls (here) in the state of Washington engaged my idea. It was here that I found some items that would start my theme on a roll.
Was it being in a lodge? Or maybe in the mountains... whatever it was, the "nature" theme was stuck in my head.
Here are two trees that I saw on line that "speak" to me. I love the added touches of snow to the branches.

This one here looks so similar to one we saw at Hobby Lobby and it was decorated in that nature theme and I was in love.
I have to give many many thanks to my little elves, Jessica and Betsy, for doing ALL my decorating for me.
