Mabry's taking a break so here is a cute Valentine craft

Valentine Fortune cookies:

Using felt squares and a compass I made 4" circles (the bottom white circle is my template I cut out of cardboard)

Then you cut florist wire a little smaller than the circle

In the center of the circle you put some fabric glue, lay your piece of wire on top of the glue (you don't press it down yet)

And over top of the wire and glue you have a cut piece of ribbon to camouflage the wire, here is where you will press down slightly. Wait 30 min. for the glue to dry. During that 30 min. you can find fortune cookie sayings on the internet to cut out and insert in the cookie.

Fold the circle in half putting the fortune cookie paper inside and then bring the two ends together to form a fortune cookie.

The results. Kids could do these instead of the typical Valentine and they would be cute inside a Chinese food container.
