You are not my flesh and blood ... but I love you as if you were...
To say "thank you" for all that you do to preserve our freedom and our opportunities to live in America, is an understatement. It is such a small gesture and yet filled with so much
emotion...
How much I swell with pride, like on this day (Jessica can even tell you that I wanted to cry because I was so proud).
I pray for you whenever you are gone, whether overseas or on training...
And I want to thank you for loving our daughter and giving us our Mabry Grace.
You are a good man, Dan, and we love you.

We've adopted a soldier through Military Angels, since we don't know anyone currently serving, and support her through weekly letters and monthly packages.
I can't express adequately my admiration for these courageous young men and women who sacrifice so much for our freedoms.

That is just a beautiful family picture. I will keep Dan in my thoughts and prayers. My brother is in the military and it is just so hard.
I have found that many people who do not have family in the military sometimes seem to forget that there are people out there risking their life every day so they can live safely. Please tell Dan thank you from me.
