Life is so hard for little pups... is she spoiled or what? No, don't answer that... it gets better. But this is what Kizzy did while her daddy was doing..... Rigging.
Jay wanted to change the speed on our ceiling fan in the living room (the fan is 16' up hanging from a 20' ceiling)... using some long handles connected together with some sort of a hook he fashioned. Instead he broke the chain! Now we have an Open House next weekend with a fan that won't work... so what's a guy and gal to do... go to Home Depot.
We check out ladders (too pricey for the height we need), renting isn't too badly priced at $22.00 for 4 hours... but WAIT... (light bulb moment in hubby's head)... I can rig something up with a couple ladders I have at home. You know guys, the kind of ladders you lean up against a telephone pole.
So here is hubby fashioning his ginormous ladder to hook back up the chain. I was for the rental ladder at $22.00, but I am sure most men would appreciate hubby's thinking and rigging.

YIKES!
As long as he was going to play Superman I decided to hand him a dust rag so he could clean off the fan blades and "he" decided to change out the light bulbs (good thing, 2 were about ready to burn out and one was partially broke where the bulb and metal end attach).
And here is Kizzy in our bed on Sunday morning and the "lump" in the next picture is Macy burrowed beneath all the covers.
