It started when I was weeding on Sat. and one was on my fore arm. It probably swelled up a good 4" up my arm. This actually looks real good. It was hot to the touch and my bracelet was actually leaving a mark that is how swollen it was.
Then on Sun. I was getting Iris bulbs ready to take to the girls and I got bit on the top of my foot, big toe and trying to Brush a little one off and it bit my little finger....geez!
Here I thought this year would be the year I didn't get bit...this has been a annual event for the fire ants since I moved south 4 years ago.
Ouch....When will it stop???

Oh I hate fire ants... the bite is painful and itchy!! I stepped on a small hill a couple of weeks ago, I had about 6 itchy bites, luckily I did not swell like you did.
Ouch!!! And I thought they broke out bad on ME! Wow. I am sooo sorry... that's' miserable!
