Need Opinions

No pictures with this post but I am in need of opinions... I am looking for a Treadmill, not too expensive, has some incline to it, cushioned pad. Not sure what would be good for a beginner so I could use your help. Please leave suggestions in the comments.

I am hoping to lose some weight and shape up before daughter's July wedding. This is my goal. Now that I have put that out there...I am accountable. Let's hope I have the will power to stick to it. Pray for me.

Really...pray for me for I am weak when it comes to exercise and chocolate.

Oooh, I need to check blogs more often. We have the Sole F80, which is ridiculously expensive. But we caught it on sale and found a "last item" in a damaged box. So the hit wasn't as bad. It's got superb reviews which is why we got it. Plus, I especially like how quiet it is. When someone's running on it though, it's not super quiet enough that I'll put the baby down to nap in the next room. But she's also got super-hearing. There are incline and speed adjustment buttons on the handles. So you don't have to straddle the sides or break stride as you fumble for the front buttons. It doesn't rattle AT ALL. It's got the 15% incline. Which I thought was pansy at first since the treadmills at the gym have like 25% or something a lot more drastic. But that 15% still kicks my butt. Oh and it also has an mp3 hook up with GREAT sound. Not grainy or staticky or muffled at all. So I can listen to my songs or audiobooks without earbuds. Right now we watch tv shows on the macbook while it sits on a shelf in front of us. Makes time go by a lot faster! It's also got a two-user setting. I don't know the details of that yet, haven't taken the time to read the manual thoroughly. I think the one thing I don't like is it's "idle" mode, it advertises as being about to sleep after a period of nonuse. It doesn't ever sleep like a computer would. The screen is still just as bright as ever and animated like it normally would be. You have to use the power button to actually turn the machine off. So I feel like I paid for a feature I didn't get. The thing was STINKIN heavy and difficult to maneuver and put together. I had also just had the cesarean and wasn't supposed to be really lifting things. So Ryan got the brunt of it. It was awful but totally worth it.
