Before and After Futon Room

I can't believe I don't have a picture of "this" room before...so all I can show you before is a color sample of what the walls looked like:

You will have to really tap into your imagination and visualize what the room look liked with walls painted sort of like this color.

Does it look familiar?

It should...same green/gray color I used in the AL house. I told ya...I didn't live there long enough to get sick of the colors.

Changed out the light fixture over the desk. We were going to wait until hubby/dad could do it but decided to be brave or totally lost our minds and went for it (that is "why" there is still that spicy mustard color still on the walls). Jessica has worked with electricity before...got zapped before but for some odd reason we both felt that as long as we weren't alone doing this we would be safer or at least the other person could call 911.

Now:

Jessica came up with the idea to paint the desk black and I am going to give it a shot...it's only paint. And then I got two brushed nickel handles. It's all coming together with a much needed boost from the daughter.

PS- I moved this chair to the room above and put the chair that was in that room here in the foyer, what do you think?
