So here are a few things I love/like that was in my Jan/Feb issue of "This Old House" that I wanted to share with you all. Enjoy or better yet...go get a magazine...you will not be disappointed with all the ideas, directions...because they are awesome like that.
Pretty cool way to use that unused space under the steps.
Love the look and use of built ins and a seating area or maybe it could be a guest bed.
I think I know some little girl that would like this for her bed (maybe a gamma's house).
This is one idea I would like to have in my house (somewhere). Jay...are you reading this?
I don't believe there are doors on this but there could be and the shoes would or could be hidden. What mom doesn't like that.
This Old House described this in a basement....I need to say how much I LOVE THIS. (kissy noises here).

Disclaimer: The magazine did not ask me for my opinion...I just love this magazine and the ideas each issue has. The fact that they also give you directions on most of the items is a plus. If you are a serious DIYer and you don't subscribe...you should and even if your not...you should subscribe. Really.

Love the idea of the under the stair storage. I have been in old homes that use to have this. Too bad I live in one level homes:-) because I love the idea and the look.
