I love that there is a piece of plastic so that the top can stay up or you can easily remove it if you want. The other thing and probably the most important as a pet owner, the zipper is on the outside and that makes it so much easier when you want to clean it. The price was awesome compared to many other sites I have checked out.All in all this is a great dog bed (cats could probably use it too) for the price.
