Help the puppies

I don't know if any of you watch Oprah or saw her show yesterday, May 29th, on puppy mills but it is horrific how these poor dogs are treated. I don't want to get graphic but I will say that I was in tears. I know...I know... my girls think that I am a little bit too ridiculous when it comes to my pups (or pups in general) but I think they would have to agree that we need to write our politicians and ask for better conditions for these dogs or stricter laws concerning puppy mills. This is wide spread across the USA, not just a select few states.  Lisa Ling and the founder of 

MLAR (web site www.mlar.com) which is Main Line Animal Rescue went primarily to Lancaster, PA and rescued 41 dogs in one day. The conditions are deplorable at best. Please visit this web site and log on to Oprah.com and check out this episode. More importantly PLEASE write to your state reps.

The pups can't do for themselves and we need to be their voice.
