Mother's Day 2008
To all of the women in our family, whether you are a mom or daughter, to you...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Betsy and I went to church and they handed out annuals for us (moms and daughters) to plant in the garden, which was nice. They said that celebrating Mother's Day was not only for moms but for daughters too, because there are many, that may never get the chance to be a mom, and we celebrate them also because they can become "moms" in different ways, to a niece or nephew, a Big Sister, a pet who becomes a child in a fur coat... what ever makes a mom we salute you and we thank those who have helped us along the way become the moms that we are today.
Here is bouquet of flowers that my mother in-law sent to me for Mother's Day, I was very surprised and it touched me deeply that she thought of me but it touched me even more when she told me "that she had 3 girls."
Here is how Jay celebrated Mother's Day ( he was not feeling well at all) so he did not go to church with us. Tom, our preacher, gave an excellent sermon on Sarah and Abraham and if you have ever heard Tom speak, you know he has to add some humor too. This was one sermon ALL men should have listened too.

Betsy you are bald! Seriously though I really like your hair a lot. Very cute.
I hope Dad starts to feel better soon.
The flowers that Granny sent were really pretty and it was sweet that she sent them to you.
Love and miss you guys!
Happy Mother's day to you too Cheri. You are one of her girls you know. It's nice to have another sister -- even if you are younger :)
Mabry looks so precious in that tutu.
Give Jay a hug for me.
