WANTED...CREATIVITY

I have kidded before on my blog that I could have alzheimer's when I am forgetful but yesterday in the mail I received a brown box by my door and wondered what I had ordered...

After unwrapping the white paper inside....there was this wonderful book by Kelee Katillac. I had to email her and ask her if I ordered her book since there was no slip in with it. Kelee said that on one of her posts I had left a comment and there fore was entitled to receive this book. What a SURPRISE!

And who doesn't like SURPRISES....

And who isn't relieved that she doesn't have alzheimers....

This book reflects Kelee's philosophy that kids and adults have a place to go of their own, a sacred place, where (in her words) every day realities such as peer pressure, low self esteem, family issues etc: cannot penetrate. Kelee is also doing a project to help "Foreclosure" dogs that get left behind when families leave their homes and their pets behind.

Here are the first creative heroes in the life-saving Dog Scarf Project. Please go to this post and get a free scarf to decorate to help the abandoned dogs. The precious pooches below and their moms have each earned a $10.00 donation to go to the Design Gives Back Abandoned Dog Fund. Please consider decorating one of our free scarves and submit a pic to earn a donation in your name from our sponsor! We currently have 85 commitments to make scarves. If we make 150 scarves we will earn a $2,000. donation for the sad dogs!

The only thing she asks is that you post a picture of your pet wearing the decorated bandana before or by July 6th. This is very little to ask and for a worthy cause. You can do it...you gals out there are so talented and creative.
