One of Three and some Christmas Merry

Here is the load that we brought back on Sat. Hubby brought back two loads earlier and we have probably one more to go before being completely moved out of the GA house and about three loads that are in storage... can ya say "too much crap," and this isn't even the house hold items. Someone has way too many toys. We spent 5 1/2 hours loading it up... got to get it packed right and like our daughter, Jessica, says "You know, so in the event that the moving truck gets hit by a train nothing will move." We got back to Sweet Home Alabama at 1:00 AM (2:00 AM for you easterners). Good thing I wasn't driving, I was dozing off and on (probably more off than on) on the way back home. Then I get home and I couldn't get to sleep right away, doesn't that always happen.

So let's move on to Christmas Merry....

These guys will greet you once you enter into our humble abode. Nothing says Christmas like Santa and Frosty.

The side table in the dining room looks so much better when you are actually here but remember we just moved in a week ago so I feel good that we got some decorations up. Betsy got me those adorable swirl candles and whimsical stockings that make me think of The Grinch. All these were 50-75% off at Cracker Barrel after Christmas last year.

Here is the dining table and the idea of the birdhouses came from Rue over at Rue's Peanut Butter and Jelly Life. She did these last year and I thought the idea was so cute. Thanks Rue!

I love snowmen and I collect them. Aren't these just too cute? Girls... my SIL got me a set at Dollar General (yes, Jessica, the dreaded Dollar General where everything is generally a dollar but I love Dollar Tree better because everything IS a dollar, there I said it) That little tid bit was because I tell this to my girls all the time. I was able to get more so I would have a set for 12, just in case company comes...hint...hint. See the birds? I have a theme going on here.

Even the glasses have trees.

The mantel with our outdoor theme continued in the stockings and stocking holders. My mom made me (years ago) these Santas when she use to take ceramics. I am thinking that the idea my girls had to put a mirror above the mantel would look real nice. Some day. The taller trees on the floor we got in Snowqualmie Falls in the state of Washington when we went there for Christmas... two years ago... WOW... that long ago.

Got a "skinny" tree this year at a great price, we don't have quite the room we did at the other house.

Here are some of the decorations I got last year at Cracker Barrel, who would have thought??? Even if they show a darker green, trust me, they are that lime colored green, I just don't have the photography skills.

Now that load... well it sits in the basement because I would rather just look at all our Christmas pretties and watch Falalala Lifetime Christmas movies.
