A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

I couldn't help but share some pictures of the outside of our house. It is absolutely beautiful and warm outside. This is our 4th year living in the south and it still amazes me the weather here. My brain is still thinking like a northerner. Talked to my mom just yesterday and they still have SNOW and probably will for another month. It's like we live on two different planets.

Pansies... people...pansies

I stuck this photo in because we are not sure what it is...can you see the black berries? The previous owner planted this ALL around the perimeter of the garden ALL around the house and some of the flower beds. Anyone want to help us figure out what this is?

This is just one group of the daffodils planted in our yard, as you scroll down you will see ones in the backyard that have not opened up yet.

All of these pictures of are our backyard. Just beyond those hedges is the road. That is bad to be that close when you have pups.

All those are daffodils (just one small group) waiting to pop and shine their faces to the sun. I am still in awe.

We were left some birdbaths and bird feeders along with three of these birdhouses.

Yesterday hubby took this one down to clean out and here a flying squirrel flew out and into one of the other ones in the yard. I have never in my life seen a squirrel fly. So we put it all back together considering all the hard work that squirrel did decorating his/her home. They must be watching HGTV through my windows.

Pardon the non-existing pedicure but I had to show that...YES...I...AM...WEARING....SANDALS! Woo Hoo!
