Who am I? What am I?

We don't know if this is a weed or some really nice full type plants....anyone know?

There were a few weeds in here when I planted some Iris (which you can't see now) and then what ever this is started growing. When it wasn't quite this full and large I yanked what I could out. My mom told me that vinegar kills weeds so I bought a few gallons and proceeded to pour it all over in this area. Well... what ever this is seems to have liked the vinegar and now look what I have.

There are a few yellow flowers on some...

and some pink on others....

Is this something native to the south?

Whatever it is, it's pretty! I'd take a sample of it to a local nursery and see if they can answer your question.

Let us know how it turns out.

This is an old southern plant called a four-o-clock, because that is about the time it starts blooming each day. It smells heavenly in the evening-most people put them near a porch or patio that they use in the evening. It has underground tubers that you have to dig up if you want to get rid of it.
