Lions and Tigers and Painters...Oh My!

I Always do the painting at our house, but the ceilings in the foyer and living room were "Way" to high for me (I am scared of heights) and we don't own a ladder tall enough (go figure...this would be for anyone who knows my hubby), so we hired Romeo and his guys and what a terrific job they did.

This just shows you HOW tall the ceilings are:

And...
Because I have not posted any Christmas anything yet....

It is because just a few days ago my Dining room looked like this...

Over the weekend we brought in more furniture and boxes from the garage and slooooowly we are settling back in.

Today was last minute Christmas gift shopping and getting packages ready to send.

Tomorrow I meet up with the Georgia bloggers to tour the Governor's Mansion and have lunch...yeah!

Then.... I will get going on my decorating and share some photos with you.

FYI: If you are in need of painting and live in the Atlanta area, I would highly recommend Romeo, he is meticulous and thorough. He touched up the walls, sanded (they are as smooth as a baby's bottom), painted two coats using quality paint (nothing cheap with him) and his prices are fair.
