Miss Independence

I am not talking about Miss Liberty or the 4th of July but one little 4 year old that I had stay with me last week. Everything and I do mean everything...she wanted to do herself.
We decided...oh who I am kidding...Miss Independence decided that we were making Snickerdoodle cookies. She made the dough and we were going to bake the cookies "after" her quiet time (can I hear hands clapping for quiet time...I am exhausted...she keeps me going for sure). LOL

Gamma ended up baking them as Miss Independence is too young to use the oven, but I thought she would help me to put them on the cookie sheet...instead a Disney show on TV was calling her name.

A couple of days later we did make some chocolate chip/caramel chip cookies and those she did help put on the cookie sheets.

Getting her started young for her bakery of which she says her mama is going to work for her. She better pay her mama well since Jessica is to greet the customers, take their order, drive Miss Independence around and any other thing she can think of for her mama to do.
