So...to give ourselves and her a little bit of
Here is the little beach...wasn't crowded...just nice for a little water fun. The water was like bath water and our feet were on a sand barge; which was so soothing on the ole tootsies instead of rocks and who knows what else.
Here is one side of the beach
AND here is the other side...I told ya...it was a little beach
Here we are having fun with Gampa...but he had to do a little teasing and Mabry was a good sport about it. Oh...Gampa!
Just to the right of the beach area you can rent canoes or kayaks. Mabry kept asking about going out on one and so Gampa went over and checked out the price...$5.00/hour and $2.00/hour after that...so we decided to venture out on the lake.
The view of the lake just as we were starting out on our canoe ride
My two companions
And then....
We saw our friend...The Blue Heron
See him?
Is this better?
I think we were making him/her nervous because it was getting ready to leave in this picture
Can you guess what this is???
Now you have to think like a 4 year old with an imagination...
Give up?
In her mind this open area between the trees...where you see a dirt embankment...is a cave. Oh to have the imagination of a child.
