And the Birthday Celebration Continues

When my B-day came around in March, my friends here couldn't get together. Neither could I as I was traveling home from up north on my B-day. One gal was coming back from Texas, one was going to be in NYC, one stayed put at her home and one...well she was in NYC, Chicago and HH.

So the "magic" date that we were all in town at the same time was yesterday. My friends here, I met through blogging and they would never let a chance to celebrate and get together go by. Even if we didn't celebrate, it is always fun to see these gals and spend time with them.

Here we have "Chatty" Sandie, "This Could Only Happen to Sue," "I Dare Ya, Joyce," and our "Thrifty Shopper, Linda."

We had a lovely meal over at Mimi's Cafe.

Now when I say, " I Dare Ya, Joyce," I don't just mean Joyce...there is Sue too. (Can't take these two anywhere).

The Red Hat Ladies had also come in for lunch.

Could these two ladies let it be....

NO!

They had to get their picture taken with The Red Hat Ladies, the one lady even did her wave too.

Could Joyce and Sue leave it at that as we intruded on their lunch for a photo opt...

NO!

Now they have on Red Hats too.

These Red Hat Ladies were great. Thanks ladies.

These are the lovely gifts the girls got me (so thoughtful) and it made me laugh...

Do you see "why?"

Two of them got me cake plates...they know I like to bake. Thanks Linda and Sue.
Joyce got me the beautiful scarf and bracelet and Sandie got me the 3 planters, great for herbs.

It was a very nice treat...lunch (thanks Sandie) and seeing these ladies.

BUT...I am not finished yet.

As I was goofing off hubby was home working on the Honey Do List. Don't all hubbies have one of these never ending lists?

Anyhow...

He made for the fur kids or maybe for me so I could keep track of them.

GATES for a large deck.

This is for one entrance

And this was for the back driveway

AWESOME!

This will also help to keep small little grandchildren corralled.

Sunday I cleaned off the deck furniture...
WHY...
I have no idea...
BECAUSE....
When I went to go out and sit on it...
It was covered in POLLEN!

Exhibit A:

Our grill cover.
I HATE POLLEN SEASON! Can I get an Amen.

Cheri I am so glad we finally all got together! It was a lot of fun! I enjoyed our 'names'...cute! Sue and Joyce are always a hoot! Funny about the cake plates but they are very different! Wishing you a wonderful week! Oh and that pollen is killing me but hoping to feel better soon...rain tomorrow will help!
hugs, Linda
