Here is where we are at: (which are items we had already purchased...some as long as a year ago).
The new design look for 2013 is having cookware on your table and drywall compound on your floor. Girls...where have you been?
Actually stove, microwave got installed, cabinet was made above microwave and walls were starting to get washed for glue/paper removal from wallpaper that was steamed off . This takes lots of time, patience and muscle for this task.
Doesn't every house have pots 'n pans on the floor and items on the laundry folding table???
I'm telling ya...ya'll are missing the decorating boat here. Kitchen Shabby Chic.
Yes, the walls still look like prison walls but at least the patching is started, right?

are you going to replace the island??
I know it takes time, but it will be worth it once it's all done! My neighbors are in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel too. It's a mess right now so I guess they're doing a lot of eating out.
