My Life in White

I know I  haven't shown you any picture updates on the kitchen, but I will. I am waiting on something to be delivered. In the mean time I can't seem to find a stopping point with painting the trim "white." It is clean looking and makes what we thought was cream/off white trim color look more gold.

I got the kitchen trim, laundry room except for the baseboard (which will be down after we lay tile in there (some day), small mud room area coming in from the garage. Now I am starting the looooong hall/ foyer area. It is a sloooow process and will take me some time to get it done. I am not in any hurry and I try to work on it a little each day.

When I tackle doors I paint in the corners first:

From there it is filling in the rest of the panel and to catch any drips. You can see how yellow the trim can look. Eww.

The roller comes out now and the rest of the door gets it's first coat.

Last I finish getting into all the nooks and crannies.

Today I did 3 doors with a first coat, I'll take a break, and go back with my other angle brush and do coat #2. As long as I try to tackle a little at a time, putting no pressure on myself, it will all get done.

That is my problem - I would put pressure on myself to get it done! It would be hard to do just a little bit for me - but your home is really gorgeous and the floors are beautiful! sandie
