Here we are starting out our walk at this 2.2 mile park that Jay found not too far from the house. All of these trails are black top and you will find people walking dogs, jogging, riding bikes, fishing and even skate boards. Most of it looks like this but there are a couple areas that are open with no trees and generally I have found that it is not crowded.
Here is the last leg of the walk where the area is open and to the left is the pond.

Here is the pond which the trails take you completely around and there are a few of these small piers to fish at. I haven't seen but I understand that there are a few more trails and an equestrian trail too.

We almost didn't make this walk today because when we started out and I mean we only pulled the car out of the garage, it started raining and not a gentle rain either, so we (Betsy and me) decided to go to Lowes first instead of last and then see how the weather was holding out after that. We had a bit more sprinkling on our way to the park but once we got there it had stopped. Kizzy knew right where we were at and couldn't wait to get out of the car. Surprisingly Macy had quite a "spring" in her step as she seemed to enjoy herself as much as Kizzy. Probably it was just cool enough for her compared to a few other times we have went, but for a little dog she is a trooper.
I am hoping that I can find some good "dog" parks to go to that they can be off their leash but I won't attempt going to the couple I found on line close to home without Jay just in case our pups and someone else's do not get along. I can't see being by myself and trying to get dogs apart.

Yeah a new post! I am glad you put up photos of the park. I miss walking around it already!
I was surprised to see that you and Betsy brought the dogs. Glad to hear that Macy did so well, seeing as she didn't have Mabry's stroller to ride in when she needed a break!
Love you guys!
