I know for a fact that there are many great DIYers out there and I am begging for your help, so please have mercy on my (lack there of) decorating soul.
Do you ever have such really fantastic (at least you think so) ideas that give you an ah-ha moment.... and then you have those moments where you can't complete a thought let alone a decorating idea/plan...well gals, that is where I am at and I could really use some advice.
I have (4) dilemmas and I will post one each day, I hope you will take pity on me and leave me a comment or email me your thoughts. Please feel free to share your decorating wisdom with me on each one, two, three or all four. I will be forever grateful.
Dilemma #1
I removed the gold damask bedding and curtains (too heavy and I have them for about 9 years) in this room and originally was going to paint this room the off white that daughter and I did in my living room/kitchen/hall and lower half of dining room walls (you can revisit the colors here). Then I was going to look for something red or navy (possibly) in the way of bedding for this guest room. Funds being what they are, I decided to use this beautiful comforter that daughter no longer wanted, the curtains are the old ones that were in Jay's office (washed them up) and the ladies chairs (they are yellow and white) were ones my MIL had, so my question is WHAT COLOR TO PAINT THE WALLS?
Throw pillows are white, white with light brown toile and tan with dark brown words
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. This window has a pecan bamboo shade coming the end of the month
2. I have pale yellow in the guest bathroom, med. brown in master bedroom, and various shades of green or gray/green in the futon room here (other guest room), Jay's office here and soon in the laundry room, so I would rather pick a different color to compliment.
My begging will continue tomorrow.

Why don't you paint it a gray color. Or how about a deep red?
I am not a decorator at all - good luck Cheri. sandie
