My shadows

Yesterday I wrote about the latest fashion accessories for the "older" generation and today I am sort of continuing that trend with the accessory of fur.

Every time I sit down

this little fur girl has to lay beside me...but not just beside me...she has to have her paw touching me. She needs to know I am there...it has been this way for 9 years. She always lays to the left of me...she would lay anywhere near me but this one

the black one ALWAYS has to be on my right and has been known to lay on top of Kizzy if Kizzy just  happens to be on that side.

Kizzy, the red one, HAS to be by me at all times, her bed is on the floor next to my computer when I am on it, if I lay down (clarify this by saying that they do not sleep with us) she cries to lay with me and nestles herself right along my chest. Macy our black one will want to lay under all the blankets (no matter how hot) at my feet. They are ridiculous but they are wonderful little companions. Occasionally drive me nuts with all this adoration of being with mama, but I love them just the same.

They are so sweet! My Charlie Cat sleeps with me sometimes but at the foot of the bed usually. Hugs, Linda

Pets add such rich dimension to our life, and we to theirs. Yours are so cute!!! I love animal stories (especially abt dogs), and how they interact and become family. . .Hope your eyes are feeling better today.

I hadn't thought of that cute analogy before. I guess I'm sporting some fur accessories too! Ha! Your doggies are so sweet lying on the sofa like that. I can relate to having mine lie beside me and almost on top of me. It may be since they're short haired, they get cold. Mine is the same way. I love it though! Mine sleeps with me up against me every night. I've become used to it now and don't mind it. Wouldn't life be less exciting without our fur babies?

There is nothing like a doxie-they are so sweet, but definetly do things their way! I love all three of mine!
